We can shoot almost any type of product from packaged goods, homeware, tools, shoes, bags, highly reflective products such as watches and jewellery as well as XL larger sized items up to 100kg and ghost mannequin photography for clothing. We will deliver clean, crisp, colour corrected images straight to your inbox.
Your automated product photography will be sent to you via a Download link. Our standard ecommerce format is 2000 x 2000px PNG. The images will be clear cut on a transparent OR white background and optimised ready for ecommerce and to load straight onto your online and social platforms.
We can shoot in many other formats to best suit your needs, including high resolutions imagery for catalogues, posters and billboards. Tell us what you need! Additional costs will apply for different format requirements.
There are standard ecommerce photography angle requirements to demonstrate product features and benefits: Top, Front, Left Side @45°, Right Side @45°, Rear, Bottom. These angles are pre-set in our photography software.
Dependent on the product type and features you need you will get all (Premium Package – up to 10 angles) or some (Essentials Package – 3 angles) of these shots.
Some products may have special features you want to showcase like close-ups of design or finishing details, or internal aspects of a product. Additional fees may apply if a manual shot set-up is required.
To ensure your products look in perfect condition to shoot when they arrive at POP photography studio, please make sure they are well protected with packaging. We will keep the original packaging and use to re-package your products at the end of the shoot ready for collection (unless you choose to donate).
We expect to be able to unpackage your products and have them ready to shoot.
Please advise if any barcodes, tags or other product identification that is on your products needs to be included or excluded as we photograph.

We accept deliveries Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, or by arrangement.
POP is working on an integrated return courier system but until then we kindly ask that you arrange for the courier return or collection of your products. Our team will repackage them after the shoot into the original packaging supplied and advise when they are ready for you to collect.

POP also offers a donation service. If you select this option during the order process, we will donate your products to the charity partner you select. Our partner organisations are currently Hospice New Zealand, Habitat for Humanity and Red Cross. Thank you for your generosity in supporting New Zealand communities.
Our standard turnaround time for Essentials, Premium and Video packages is 5 standard working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) from when your products are received at POP Studio.
If your product photos are required more urgently, please select one of our Express services for 48-hour or 24-hour turnaround. If you request a Custom Solution, including Bulk Orders, we will agree the timing with you ahead of the shoot.
Yes, additional charges will apply for Photoshop or image editing services to address any imperfections, reflections, or unique product-related challenges. We assess these on a case-by-case basis and provide transparent quotes for your consideration.
Payment by credit card in advance of the shoot is required for your order under the standard packages.
If you are placing a Bulk Order, or are an existing partner of RX Group, alternative invoicing arrangements may be possible. Please contact us for details.

We have several machines available for optimal photography of various products, including ghost mannequin for apparel, highly reflective jewellery and watches, and XL items up to 100kg and 1000w x 900d x 1900h (mm).
